How Delete Pages Works

Every page loads as a clickable thumbnail rendered with PDF.js โ€” low-resolution and preview-only. Click a page to mark it for deletion, then confirm with the delete button; there's an undo option for about eight seconds afterward in case you select the wrong page. Once confirmed, pdf-lib copies every remaining page's original content into a new file โ€” the pages you keep are untouched and exactly as sharp as the source document, just with the unwanted ones removed.

Click to select

Simply click any page to mark it for removal โ€” no menus, checkboxes, or page-number entry required.

Short undo window

Made a mistake? Undo is available for a few seconds right after deletion, before it's finalized.

Remaining pages unchanged

Only the deleted pages are removed โ€” every page you keep stays at full original quality.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I delete every page in a PDF?

No โ€” at least one page must remain. The tool will stop you if your selection would leave the document empty.

What if I select the wrong page?

Use the undo option that appears right after deletion โ€” it stays available for about eight seconds before the change becomes final.

Does deleting pages affect the quality of the rest?

No โ€” the remaining pages are copied directly from the original file with no re-rendering, so their quality is unchanged.

Can I delete pages from a locked PDF?

Not directly โ€” remove the password first with a PDF reader, since encrypted content can't be read for copying.
